Russia's heart was pounding extremely fast. He looked at the paper he had in his hand again making sure the address he had was right. It was America's birthday today, and he decided to pay him a surprise visit. As he looked around, he was shocked. Despite it being America, the house that he lived in was very clean cut. All around him were flowers of every kind and trees decorating the front yard. He examined the different kinds of flowers, seeing that they were only red, white, and blue. A wide grin on his face suddenly appeared. "This is so...America." He thought. Russia then proceeded to casually walk around the garden, like it was his own.
One particular flower stopped him in his tracks. He looked at it in shock, unable to move. It was a sunflower. Why the hell would America have a sunflower in his yard. He frowned as he looked at it. The sunflower looked like it was drooping and wasn't being taken care of properly. "Geez, America should at least take care of it.." He stepped in the garden to prop the sunflower back up. His purple eyes glanced up and down at the sunflower to make sure it was straight. He then stepped out of the garden, knocking his boots on the ground to get rid of any dirt.
Russia then proceeded to the door of America's house. He made sure that the present he got for America was still in his pocket. He then took a big breath and let out a sigh. "Well, here goes nothing." He rang the doorbell and waited for the other nation to answer.

Ah, the Fourth of July. It offered a lot of things for the personification of the United States - the chance to eat an obscene amount of hamburgers and hot dogs - the chance to see flags and scenes of patriotism everywhere he went - well, it was very encouraging, and a hell of a lot of fun. But it was the evening now, and after celebrating all day, America had decided to stay home and play a video game, one that Tony hadn't hidden somewhere. Aliens could be so stupid sometimes.
However, just after he placed the disc inside the gaming machine, there came a ding from outside. Who was visiting him today, he wondered and strolled over to the door. A quick glance at the peephole showed America that it was none other than Russia. A welcome visitor, though he could not remember the last time he had come here. That was too bad. America opened the door and greeted him enthusiastically.
"Hey, Russia!" he said, a silly grin on his face. "Here to celebrate with me? It's my birthday, y'know."
