History:
Well, back in the BC days, Lithuania is originated from small Baltic tribes living near the Baltic sea. The small Baltic tribes were then united by Mindaugas around 1230s and he got crowned as King of Lithuania July 6 1253. Being a Pagan, Lithuania have to endure the bullying of his neighbor the Teutonic Knights who was too awesome that he wanted to convert him to Christianity by force. Despite of being pushed around, he still manage to overcome it. But in the end he still ended up being bullied more. Then Poland appeared.
Poland decided to help him by means of Engagement with him. Having no other choice to protect his people, he agreed to Poland's plan. He got convert to Catholicism and got engaged to Poland around 1385. So now, the Teutonic Knights got no excuse on bullying him. And they live happily ever after? Not quite..
Lithuania's bosses wanted to broke up the engagement after the Teutonic Knights gave up their bullying. But then again another threat was lurking in the Shadows. It was Russia. So for protection, Lithuania decided to marry Poland thus the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was born on 1569. And they grow big together.
Then the partitions came after wards. Russia took in Lithuania. Then on 1919, Lithuania declared independence but after the great depression, he found himself back in Russia's place. Then again, on 1990, Lithuania started the rebellion against the Soviet and gained his independence. And the rest, as they say is History. :3
Allies: Poland (his best friend), Estonia, Latvia (his brother), Belarus (his crush), Ukraine (his friendly neighbor)
Enemies: (more like threats not exactly enemies) Russia, Prussia
Sample Post:
As the others keep on talking, the shy brunette guy just sat with one leg crossed on the other, next to his friend . He kept fixing his messy hair just not to look bad in front of the bigger nations. Conferences like these aren't really his thing but if it's for the sake of maintaining good relations then probably he could give an exemption.
Did you read the rules?
Yes, i did and would glance up on them once in awhile to refresh my memory.
